Accelerating Hydrogen Ecosystem

07 december 2022; 14.30 – 16.30

Clean hydrogen will have a central place in the climate-neutral economy of the future, and Europe must play a key role as the world’s clean hydrogen trailblazer. This year in the “State of the European Union” (SOTEU), President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced the intention of creating a new “European Hydrogen Bank”, which will help guarantee the purchase of hydrogen and invest €3 billion to construct a future hydrogen market. This bank will facilitate the creation of a market for green hydrogen in the EU, by bridging the investment gap and connecting future supply and demand. The essential element of hydrogen as an energy and industrial component requires the infrastructure, which is made of different parts.

The goal of this event is to learn more about the EU’s hydrogen policy and clarify the principles of a Hydrogen Bank and hydrogen infrastructure and encourage cooperation in response to the SOTEU speech. During this webinar, we will showcase best examples in research, industry and industrial infrastructure such as transformation of the mobility sector with hydrogen; clean hydrogen in industry and creation of the clean hydrogen valley.

A final confirmation and program with speakers will be sent one day before the event.

Please register via the provided link. The deadline for registration is Monday 12:00 PM CET, 5 December. A final confirmation will be sent few days before the event. Please feel free to forward this invitation to interested colleagues.
